Hi girls. I'm 19. I've just got the proficiency exam. I passed, however, i feel like i m gonna forget the language if i dont interact with the others. Thats why i wanna join you girls. :))
yes you need to use the language. which exam did u pass? toefl, ielts? well, i strongly recommend u to watch movies or tv shows in english with english subtitles:) its a great thing not to forget the language and also a great way to improve it.
women sometimes need to change things in their lives:) i get your point. well, i am 23 and i started learning english when i was at 5th grade, it was a private school and their priority was to teach english. later i enjoyed learning it and decided to be an english teacher. i am almost graduted, gonna start teaching next year hopefully:) i also learnt german for 11 years, and i am working on my german skills as well. what about you? your english seems to be good.
your education is quite like minei stayed 6 months in uk and only 1 month in germany for speaking courses so i'm good at speaking english and german but not good enough when writing. i wanna improve both of them, so i study every day (
i'm watching movies in their original language and reading newspapers like the guardian, istanbul post and frankfurter allgemeine. but not online, i like papers :))
yes, i have that obsession also. i need to feel the paper with my hands. but i dont have the chance to find them in turkey, so i go with the apps. hope this place can help u improve also:)

As you all know , topics like this one are very common here but there is a problem we can't avoid.
Since there are too much of these topics, after a while they just become inconsequential.
I really want to practice English , that is why I mostly join these topics but it never continues...
I am sick of that. I hope this time we can practice and have nice chats here for real :)
